Metroid Other M is set in-between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. It returns to a much more classic game style that you might expect from Metroid games. Other M involves Adam Malkovich, Samus’s commanding officer. He was in Super Metroid but died before Metroid Fusion and Other M should fill in some of the gaps in the storyline.

Other M has been created as a collaboration between Nintendo and Team Ninja – the team that developed the highly acclaimed Ninja Gaiden. There were concerns that the two games would be very similar to each other and while there are some similarities Metroid Other M still manages to retain everything that’s important and unique about Metroid Games.

Metroid Other M features a story progression in a similar format to Metroid Fusion. This collaboration between Nintendo and Team Ninja has created something truly special and fantastic.
